Spa 101 - Guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions

Tranquil Environment

Mystique Day Spa offers a tranquil, relaxing setting for all guests to enjoy. In keeping with this atmosphere, we respectfully ask that you turn off all electronic devices (cell phones, Blackberries, etc) upon your arrival at the spa, and keep noise level at a minimum.

When should I arrive for my appointment?

You should arrive at the spa 10 minutes prior to your service is to begin in order to check in, relax and fill out the required health record (if it is your first time at our spa). If you arrive late, your service will still finish at the scheduled time in order to not inconvenience the next scheduled client.

Can I bring my children with me?

For safety reasons, and to maintain an environment of relaxation and tranquility, it is not advisable to bring children to the Day Spa. Children may, however, visit the salon if they are scheduled for an appointment and are accompanied by an adult. If you find yourself without another option, please call to speak with us to try to arrange for an exception.

Please keep all valuables with you during your visit. We regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage to personal articles or accessories.

What do I wear during my treatment?

Each treatment varies in what you will be wearing. For waxing services, if needed we will provide you with a comfortable gown or wrap. During a massage, it is up to you and your comfort level. Some people choose to wear their underwear while others choose nothing at all. Please be assured that our service professionals maintain the highest level of privacy and you are draped at all times in all private areas.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule my service?

When your schedule appointments with us, we make sure that our technicians are here and ready to provide you with that service. We ask that you respect our time as we respect yours. Please notify the spa as soon as possible in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment(s). Mystique Day Spa has a 24 hour cancellation policy. For packages or multiple services there is a 48 hour cancellation policy. Cancelling or rescheduling appointments within these times periods will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service. Not showing up for your scheduled service will result in a charge for the full service amount.

What types of payment do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept Debit and Cash.

Are gift certificates available?

Yes, gift certificates are available for any service or in any dollar amount. They're perfect for last-minute gifts!

Can I make arrangements for some recurring, or standing appointments?

Certainly, just tell us what time works best for you! We are at your service to find the best time in your schedule for booking your regular appointments, whether it be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
